Prior to forming IL Bella Sole LLC, Krystyna Kielbon spent 15 years as a senior executive in marketing, sales and business development in the CD manufacturing industry. She also has extensive experience in the commercial real estate and finance industry in both the Netherlands and New York. She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Her journey into the world of high-end furniture design was inspired by the rays of sun and salty winds of the Mediterranean. While vacationing in beautiful Sardinia, Krystyna was lying on the beach at a 5 star resort donning an over-sized hat, with her face slathered in SPF 50 sunscreen.
While trying to work on her iPad, she thought to herself, "Wouldn't it be wonderful if I could actually see the iPad instead of being blinded by the bright glare of the Mediterranean sun?"
That moment, she experienced an epiphany of design which would soon result in the creation of IL Bella Sole.
After conducting extensive research, Krystyna discovered that there was a void, an unexplored niche in the hospitality industry for a luxurious chaise lounge with an adjustable sun shade.
Perceiving the full heft of her discovery, Krystyna realized that she had fulfilled two needs that nobody in the market had thus far acknowledged.
Krystyna designed the elegant and spacious Arabella Chaise shaded lounge, thereby keeping the sun's harmful UV rays away from the occupant's face and providing an adjustable shade.
This also allows the occupant glare-free usage of their screened electronic devices -a much-needed function in today's tech-savvy world which prior to Krystyna's design had not yet been fully addressed by any designer.
Krystyna Kielbon's flagship design, The Arabella Chaise, was debuted in April 2013 at the International Furniture market in High Point, NC. Since her launch of the Arabella collection she will be introducing an extensive product line adding tables and accessories.
In the Fall of 2013, IL Bella Sole unveiled Krystyna's elegant French art deco-inspired Allegra collection of indoor furniture, which was specifically designed with the hospitality industry in mind.
The new collection is made from mahogany wood, each piece being hand-carved and offered in an array of international project quality finishes.
